Aurangabad is a city in the Aurangabad district of Maharashtra State, India. The city is a tourist hub, surrounded with many historical monuments, including the Ajanta (Ajintha Leni) Caves and Ellora (Verul Leni) Caves, which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, as well as Bibi Ka Maqbara. The administrative headquarters of the Aurangabad Division or Marathwada region, Aurangabad is said to be a City of Gatesand the strong presence of these can be felt as one drives through the city. Recently, Aurangabad has been declared as Tourism Capital of Maharashtra.
Day 1:
Arrive at Aurangabad & check in at hotel. Today visit to Grishneshwar Temple. This is one of the Jyotirling from 12 Jyotirling of lord Shiva. Daulatabad Fort, Bibi-Ka-Maqbara, Aurangabad caves, Panchakki (Water Mill). Stay at Hotel.
Day 2:
After breakfast visit to Ajintha caves. These 2nd century caves are fine achievements by Bhuddhist monks. Beautiful wall paintings vivid sculptures reflect the peak of India and architecture. These 30 caves divided into 2 phases. Stay at Hotel.
Day 3:
After breakfast visit to Ellora caves. The world heritage site, one of the finest examples of rockcut caves. There are total 34 caves. Cave 16 is most famous and had Lord Shiva sculpted on the rock. Stay at Hotel.
Day 4:
After breakfast check out from the hotel and leave for your home town.
