Korlai – Murud Janjira Package – 2N / 3D
Korlai & Murud Janjira both the places are near Alibaug in the Raigad district of Maharashtra state, India. Korlai Fort is a Portuguese fortification in the town of Korlai. It was meant as a companion to the fort at Chaul. At this strategic position the Portuguese could use it to defend their province which stretched from Korlai to Bassein. Murud-Janjira is the local name for a fort situated on an island just off the coastal village of Murud, in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, India. It was occupied by the Siddis and is famous for being the only fort along India’s Western coast that remained undefeated despite Dutch, Maratha and English East India Company attacks.
Day 1:
Early morning leave for Korlai (Near Alibaug). Visit Korlai fort, lighthouse, church & beautiful Korlai beach. Evening visit to Kashid Beach. Dinner & stay at Kashid.
Day 2:
After breakfast leave for Murud. Visit Murud Janjira fort. Evening enjoy at Murud Beach. Dinner & stay at Kashid/Murud (as per your choice).
Day 3:
After breakfast check out from hotel and leave for your home town.
